Woman's Apparel

These are some questions that are in the bible that everyone must answer before the Lord and be accountable be to God for.

Deu 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertainethH3627 unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment:H8071 for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Perhaps by permutation for the feminine of H5566 (through the idea of a cover assuming the shape of the object beneath); a dress, especially a mantle: - apparel, cloth (-es, -ing), garment, raiment. Compare H8008.

So when we consider the way woman dress in our culture we are forced to ask;
Is it feminine?

1Ti 2:9
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

Part of Speech: noun feminine
A Related Word by Thayer’s/Strong’s Number: from G2687
Citing in TDNT: 7:595, 1074

Those two definitions: 1) a lowering, letting down 2) a garment let down, dress, attire. I can't look at those and say that they aren't a dress. I think that it's pretty cut and clear. God made Dresses for women, God made Pants for men.

Pants have been man's for hundreds of years, not tell about sixty years ago did women start wearing pants. About the same time women started working in the work world.
Could this be related?
Is this why God made a higher standard for woman's clothing then for men?
God said for woman; “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man.”
But for men God says; “neither shall a man put on a woman's garment” So God is saying for woman not to wear anything the is like a mans, and for men not to wear woman's clothing.
God knew the fleshly struggle of a woman, to take the man's possession and clothing, it was they're curse God gave them.

Gen 3:16
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Could it be that God was trying to prevent women from having struggles with desiring they're husbands place, by making a distinct difference between men and woman's clothes?
For years men wore the pants, and women wore the dresses. Should we through that off because our culture says now, it's ok? Or is it a sign of our degrading, godless, and our “gender neutral” culture?
Do you think your feminine pants or distinctively feminine? Is it a big enough difference? Or just a few inches of fabric and a few yards of thread?

It is not my intention to offend or to shove my opinions down anyone's throat, and I'm not in anyway offended if a woman wears pants in front of me. This is how I understand all those verses that the Bible has to say, on this subject.
You do not have to believe what I do. But you do have to answer for all these question.
So let me summarize:

1.Do you think your pants or clothing is not in the likeness of a man?
2.Do you believe that if our culture does it; it must be ok?
3.Is the verse in 1 Tim. 2:9, taking about actual dresses
4.Could it be that when women wear pants, it a degraded culture?
5.Is woman's pants, destructively feminine?

To war? or Not to war?

I've been pondering this for some time now and I've come to a conclusion. Maybe the question isn't “Should we fight or not?” Maybe the question is “What is God’s best?”
In Genesis 1 we get a clear look at what God's best is, here we see what God wants for his children in the future.
Isa 11:6 “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den.
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”

This is a picture of God's perfect plan, this peaceful and beautiful world he desires his children to
dwell in, with no war or fighting. Yes, war might be the “lesser of two evils.” But it's still evil!
So why not choose God's best?

Because we rejected God's best in the Garden of Eden, we reject God's best every time we sin.
When sin came into the world, God's best went away, and we were left with the obligation to have to
choose the “lesser of two evils.”

Gen 3:16 “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Gen 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
Gen 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
Gen 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. “

Don't misunderstand what I'm saying. I'm not saying that we can't ever choose God’s best! But we can't
ever choose God's ABSOLUTE best in our sinful flesh, though one day we will once again be able to
choose God's best. But until that day comes we are forced to choose the lesser of two evils.
To go to war with a nation that is killing innocent women and children, to pull a gun on a man raping a
woman, to execute a murderer, to physically defend our families, and to war with a nation that is
invading our land to corrupt and control it, we cannot just ignore these things. In his last
hours on earth Jesus told his disciples to buy a sword (weapon) to show them, and us, that some of us
will be called to war.
Luk 22:36 “Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his
scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. “

Later Christ tells Peter to put away his sword.

Mat 26:52 “Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the
sword shall perish with the sword. “
Joh 18:11 “Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it? “

He did this to show us that there is a time for war and a time for peace, because only in two of the
accounts he condemns the sword. Because he was trying to tell us there is a time for war and a time for peace.

Ecc 3:8 “ A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. “

It is for a greater love we fight a nation corrupt with murder, it is for a greater love for a man to kill rapist, it is for a greater love we physically defend our families, it is for a greater love we execute
murderers, and it is for a greater love we fight. “Wow, sounds like that's treading on thin ice!”
Yes it is, that is why God gave us the Law in the Old Testament, to teach us how to deal with these
situations.
Therefore we MUST not throw out the Old Testament law. But rather, know that the God of all creation wrote it for our good to show us how to walk in this sinful, fallen, “lesser of two evils” world.

Will I got my first citation yesterday! Yep I'm a bad boy. I was going 86 in a 15. The cop saw me started to chasing me and and knew that this was my only chance in life to run from a cop, and I knew a could out run him, so I floored it, and I was easily clocking 140 on foothills road, the cop was way behind me, and I knew I won. But suddenly I look ahead and saw 6 cop cars blocking the road, but I ramped over them! “Is that the best you can do?” I screamed out my window as I was flying through the air. After I got out on highway 35 I saw look up and saw a chopper in the air, they tried to shoot me with a snippers rifle, but I was way to good at dodging their pathetic bullets. Again I look ahead only to see a spike strip covering the whole road! “piece of cake!” I thought to myself as I simply swerved around it... “their going to have to do better then that” not a second after I whispered those words to myself, I look in my rear view mirror and saw an RPG missile come strait at me. It hit right in front of my jeep making it fly off the road. It landed on it's roof so I rolled it back over with one hand. “It's not over yet” I stared for the forest cause my jeep has 4wheel drive. I came to the base of a cliff. I but it in 4 low, and drove right up it. When I reach the top and the whole National guard was waiting for me! They surrounded my with every kind of gun you can imagine...... except for the one I own..... but I didn't have it with me at the time. So I grab my deck of magic cards and my purse. I jump right out at the started throwing my card like Chinese stars, and swinging my purse like a battle ax. After a few moment 8 Marines, were on top of me punching my face, so I decided to give up the game. After all I'm not trying to kill anyone. After they got off of me, the officer that chased me first, walk up to me and said with a very cheerful tone. “how are you doing to day sir?” I said “fine” he said “ well I clock you going a little over the speed limit, so can I see you driver's license.?” so I give him all my stuff and he took it to his car meanwhile I'm still on the ground and at gun point. he came back handed me my stuff and said very kindly “will your insurance card it expired. So I'm going to site you for that. But as for the speeding: just try and slow down Mr. Mallery” They all left, and know I have to go to court to show Kathryn (that's the judge) my new insurance card and I'll be off the hook. The end........ “what? You don't believe me? Ok I'll tell the truth!.... it was only 70mph in a 15mph zone!” (-;}

well I was in a wreck this morning...... I'm ok! So stop sing and dancing. it was just a fender bender. This gal in front of me slammed on her breaks because her dog was barfing. I slammed mine, and I couldn't swerve with on coming traffic and a ditch on the other side I brast myself said a word and HAAAAAAA! BOOOOOOM! the airbags went off, and a started crying.... not really. after the "barf dog" gal got my jeep info she left, while I waited for the MHP officer to show up. when he got there he stole my drivers license and my jeep info..... but he did give them back. I went to Piano lessons and didn't do them, But I did make this post. But there is one thing I learned from all this; Don't keep biffing dogs! Just kidding, I learned "When the morning falls on the farthest hill, I wall sing his mane I will praise Him still.
